The point of it

What it does

People reviewing their own AncestryDNA or 23andMe export files, plus developers exploring local genomics workflows.

It keeps imported genotype data on the machine while turning it into reports that can be inspected and shared deliberately. The output is informational, not medical advice.

  • Import an AncestryDNA or 23andMe file and review clean rows, skipped rows, and profile changes before continuing.
  • Run Simple, Clinical, or Compare marker reports against the local profile.
  • Use the optional local Ollama and MCP paths when an agent-assisted review is useful.
  • Keep the source file and generated reports under your control on the local machine.

Keep in mind: Genomics Caddy is designed around local files. Do not treat a generated report as a diagnosis, and do not connect an external service unless you intend to share the data.
